Joomla! 3.1.0 穩定版釋出

　　Joomla! 3.1 是 Joomla! 3 內容管理系統的第二個主要版本，與 2012/09/28 發佈的 Joomla! 3.0 相同屬於「創新功能，支援時間較短」的 STS 版，主站發佈的新聞請見 JOOMLA! 3.1.0 STABLE RELEASED。

　　使用 Joomla! 3.0 的站長們可透過管理區「Joomla! 更新」元件更新網站至 Joomla! 3.1，或是透過以下提供的下載資訊上傳更新檔案。如果尚未打算更新至 Joomla! 3.1，請注意主站也發行了修正安全性問題的 Joomla! 3.0.4，同樣可在本文中找到下載連結。

　　「標籤」元件是 Joomla! 3.1 最受矚目的新功能，現在管理者能為 Joomla! 的核心元件（如內容、聯絡人、網站連結等）加上特定標籤，然後以顯示「標記特定標籤」方式在同一畫面顯示不同元件內容。過去常被討論「指定文章至多個分類」的建議，如今在標籤元件的運作下得以實現。

　　每當主要發行版更新時就會有網友在問：是否要更新到最新發行版？因使用的 Joomla! 版本不同，答案也會不一樣。

Joomla! 1.5：Joomla! 1.5 已於 2012 年四月停止後續支援，非官方的支援也在 2012 年底結束，最終版本為 1.5.26。如果站長們所建構的 Joomla! 1.5 系統網站運作穩定、正常，其實並沒有非得更新到最新版不可的理由。
提醒使用 Joomla! 1.5 的站長們：擴充套件開發商已停止 Joomla! 1.5 方面的支援，而且因為發展架構不同的關係無法透過更新方式讓擴充套件更新至新版。主站建議可透過 jUpgrade 或 SPUpgrade 套件，將網站核心元件內容轉換到 Joomla! 3.0.x 之後再更新到 Joomla! 3.1.0。
Joomla! 1.6/1.7/2.5：Joomla! 2.5 為 Joomla! 1.6/1.7 的後繼版本，且為當前「LTS：穩定優先，長期支援」的最新版本。正以 Joomla! 2.5 運作的網站不一定要升級到 Joomla! 3.1，可等到 Joomla! 3.5 正式版發佈之後依照擴充套件的支援情況進行升級。
Joomla! 3.0.x：相同的架構，更多的功能，放心升級吧。

　　如果要建立新網站，哪個版本適合呢？雖然 Joomla! 3.0 與 3.1 的支援時間只有六個月左右，但就穩定性而言已有資料顯示 3.0.3 適合用於正式網站，之後的 3.0.4 與 3.1 就更不用說。

　　著名的擴充套件最新版本大多支援 Joomla! 3 系列，而且如果包含後續版本的支援時間來計算，Joomla! 3 的支援時間將會到 2016 年底（以預定發行的 Joomla! 3.5 而言）。如果你是 Joomla! 新手，從 3.1 開始學習 Joomla! 會是個不錯的選擇。
